Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between these bead tools?

Each tool uses brand-specific color palettes. Perler, Hama, and Nabbi tools map colors to official bead colors with exact names. Generic tools (Fuse, Melty, Iron) work with any brand and focus on features like ironing guides or printable templates.

How accurate are the color matches?

We use color distance algorithms to find the closest match from official brand palettes. The actual bead colors may vary slightly from your screen display, but the color names and codes are accurate to each brand's catalog.

Can I use these patterns for commercial projects?

Yes, the patterns you create are yours. However, if you're using copyrighted images (characters, logos), you'll need permission from the copyright holder to sell finished bead art.

Do the bead counts include transparent or glow-in-the-dark beads?

The tools currently focus on standard opaque beads from each brand's main palette. Special effect beads (transparent, glow, metallic) are not included in the default palettes.

How do I calculate how many bead bags I need?

Export the bead count CSV and check your brand's packaging. Most brands sell 1,000-bead bags. Divide each color's count by 1,000 to estimate bags needed, rounding up.
